First things first, it’s all about Jesus! He’s forever changed my life and I have a deep desire to see the very same thing happen for other people! Over the years, ministry has simply been a way for me to do the things I’m passionate about:

Seeing people experience Jesus for the first time
Helping those who are wounded and in need of freedom and healing
Raising up faithful followers of Jesus
Contending for the miraculous to become normal
Teaching the scriptures in engaging and practical ways

Currently I am serving as the Lead Pastor at New Point Church in Urbandale, IA where I have been for the last ten years.

Basketball

Basketball has been something I have loved since as long as I can remember. I love the game! Even thought I don’t get to play as often anymore, I do follow the game closely and I am an avid fan of the Phoenix Suns and the University of Arizona



Movies

I have always enjoyed a good movie. Usually a good mystery, action, or epic pulls me in and gets me hooked. I’m always up for just about anything with Denzel Washington or Harrison Ford.



Home Projects

In 2018 we purchased a foreclosure and have loved making it our own. It’s been a slow process, but it has been so much fun doing the different projects and watching our house become a home!



Football

I love football. My dad’s family is originally from Lincoln, NE and made sure we became huge fans of the University of Nebraska. Growing up in Arizona, I naturally became a fan of the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL and follow them closely as well.



Cooking

The kitchen is a big part of our life. Since the early days of our marriage, Lindsey and I have enjoyed making food together. I love making A good steak, almost anything Italian, or smoking some meat.



Travel

I love traveling! Our family has enjoyed several trips to Florida over the years and my wife’s happy place is at the beach. My trip to Israel in 2019 is still at the top of the list, and I imagine always will be.

The Family

Jordan & Lindsey

The passion of our hearts has always been to lead people toward a life-changing relationship with Jesus by ensuring that the church we lead is a place where God is easy to find. No matter a person’s story, no matter what life looks like for them, anyone can experience the kind of love, acceptance, and forgiveness that Jesus modeled in the Gospels.

We have been married for almost 20 years and have four daughters; Madison, Maiah, Mackenzie, and Mollie.

Lindsey has been a stay home mom while raising our daughters. Recently she started working full time at a Dental office after the twins started school full time. Besides taking care of the girls, she has enjoyed serving in various ministry roles at our church. She has led several women’s Bible studies through the years, served on youth staff, as well as organized and planned women’s events.

She especially loves Christmas time, finding a good coffee shop, and spending time with family and friends.
